General Tilelli (Senior Advisor)

General John Tilelli (USA, retired, Senior Advisor) served an honorable and distinguished career of over 30 years in the United States Army. His last active-duty assignment was Commander-in-Chief of the United Nations Command and, Republic of Korea/United States Combined Forces Command and Commander of United States Forces Korea. His military career includes serving as Vice Chief of Staff of the Army, the Army’s Deputy Chief of Operations, during which he led the Army’s vision of the Army of the 21st Century and implemented reforms in acquisition and procurement, and was also the Commander of the 1st Cavalry Division.  He trained, deployed, and fought with the 1st Calvary in Operation Desert Shield and Desert Storm.

Upon his retirement from the United States Army, he was appointed as President and Chief Executive Officer of the USO Worldwide Operations.  He had the responsibility for the operation of over 122 USO operations around the world in support of our servicemen and women and their families. He is currently serving as Chairman on the Board of Directors for Korean War Memorial Foundation.

Michele Votel

Michele Votel served honorably as a Military Spouse for 39 years. Throughout those years, she and her husband, General Joseph Votel (USA, ret.), faithfully represented the United States both in their armed services functions and in the form of international relations and diplomacy. Michele served the United States Military community through various programs, including as: President of Parish Council, Parliamentarian for Officer Spouse Club, Advisor to Military Thrift shop, and in USMIL Family support programs. Today, Michele carries on the servant heart by volunteering as a volunteer courier for the National Marrow Donor Program. She also exemplifies her compassion through volunteering as a representative for the Chief of Staff of the Army though the Arlington Ladies.

Shannan Starling

Lieutenant Colonel Shannan Starling (USAF, ret.) served honorably in the United States Air Force for 24 years. Shannan spent most of her service in the Space and Missile programs, leading in various roles to ensure the safety and security of the United States. Today, Shannan is CEO of Astra Solutions LLC; a U.S. private contractor firm specializing in supporting and advising on the Department of Defense’s Space and Missile programs.
